Beloved: Film & Discussion
Join us for a free screening of “Beloved,” the powerful film adaptation of Toni Morrison’s acclaimed novel, at the Palace Theater. Following the showing, engage in a thought-provoking panel discussion featuring local community members. Together, we’ll celebrate Toni Morrison’s profound influence on literature, explore the importance of Black history and highlight the legacy of local anti-slavery efforts.

Plus: Charlie Thomas’ Drifters are back by popular demand singing all their hits including “Under the Boardwalk,” “Up on the Roof,” “Save the Last Dance for Me,” “On Broadway.” For the first time ever, we’ll be joined by The Box Tops, who were trail-blazers in the 60s and one of the most influential bands of the era with hits like “The Letter” and “Cry Like a Baby.”

Join Main Street Lorain for our monthly 1 HOUR clean-up of Downtown Lorain! Supplies are provided, just show up with a positive attitude and together we can make a positive impact!
Coffee Hour begins at 9am each month at Magdalen's Coffee Shop. Following coffee, the clean-up will begin at 10am!
