The mission of our Port is to promote waterborne commerce, to provide economic development opportunities within the City of Lorain, and to enhance public access to our waterway. They offer boat tours up the Black River, host Rockin’ on the River summer concerts each year, and host spectacular fireworks display on the Fourth of July! 

The Lorain Port is one of the most important development partners in Downtown Lorain and across our community. Not only do they manage the beautiful Black River Landing, Mile Long Pier, and Riverfront Park, but they are also integral to finance projects and the appropriate development of our waterfront.
