Formed in 1957, our Lorain County Metro Parks strives to preserve and create a diversity of ecosystems while providing educational and recreational opportunities which are compatible with and promote conservation of these resources. With over 9,000 acres of preserved land and over 1,600 programs, the citizens of Lorain County experience diverse offerings regarding the natural & cultural resources of Lorain County, in addition to a wide variety of recreational opportunities.
